Alexandre Balducci is an associate within the Paris office IP/IT/Privacy team. He assists clients in litigation and transactional matters involving information technology and intellectual property, notably for industries including, media and telecommunications, e-Commerce, advertising, banking, virtual currencies and payments, online services and luxury.

He assists many French and international clients on issues relating to:

  • Implementation of compliance schemes with the General Personal Data Regulation (audits, risk analysis, contractual and organizational implementation), notably in the field of big data, targeted and behavioral advertisement, transportation, online services, connected devices & IoT or whistleblowing schemes;
  • Digitalization, e-commerce and blockchain-based projects implementation, online payment and Fintech, cybercrime, infrastructures and data networks, online betting and gaming;
  • Enforcement of intellectual property rights (authors rights, trademarks, designs & models), trademark infringement, unfair competition and media law;
  • Draft and negotiation of commercial and IT contracts (licensing, outsourcing, SaaS, integration, cloud) as well as technology transfers.

Professional Background

Alexandre Balducci was admitted to the Paris Bar in February 2017. Prior to joining K&L Gates, he worked at leading information technology and intellectual property law firms, as well as in the legal departments of a leading telecommunication and payments company as well as an online search engine / global technology company.
