Alex Weber is an associate in the firm’s Seattle tax practice. Alex works with large and small businesses throughout the country in different industries, including technology, retailing, online marketplaces, health care, construction, energy, finance, and utilities. Alex’s practice focuses on different tax types, including retail sales tax, corporate income/franchise tax, employment tax, and property tax.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Alex was a Tax Manager at KPMG LLP’s State & Local Tax practice in Seattle. During that time, Alex provided multi-state compliance, consulting, and controversy services to corporate clients. Alex served as the KPMG Tax Specialist for Alaska, consulting on corporate income tax, local sales tax, and oil and gas production taxes. Alex has also successfully represented clients through the administrative appeals process in different jurisdictions throughout the country.
